STAR HOTELS BENECKO - Benecko - Giant Mountains

The large car park is situated right beside the hotel (free for the quests). Access to the hotel is by the well-maintained road, that is why it does not make any difficulties not even to non-experienced drivers.

In winter time the skitow for the smallest children is situated right beside the hotel.
Their beginings on ski will be watched by experienced instructors of skiing.
Their parents can observe them from the convenience of hotel-restaurant. The bottom station of skitows of Skiarea Benecko is quite near too. Well known are especially skitows Kejnos and Liška.
The nearest one is skitow Macher which is very convenient also for not very good skiers. In hotel services is included the reservation of skipass for all skitows of Skiarea Benecko. For advanced skiers is very pleasant fact of artificial cover of snow and lightsome downhills for night skiing.
From the bottom station of mentioned skitows you can get to the others downhill courses in area (in sum 8). All equipment for skiing you can rent in our rental and servis whose are situated in our hotel.

In summer time you can enjoy any from the large proposition of activity for the free time in the nearest surroundings – e.g. swimming in swimming pool in Benecko (aprox. 100 m far from hotel) or in the Vrchlabí (where is switchback too), rides on horses (Hucul farm, Kněžice farm), you can play golf on six-hole public golf course in Benecko, from Herlikovice you can go by cable way on Žalý mountain and run down by rented mountain scooters or make a tourist or cycling-tourist trip into surrounding, e.g. to the source of the Elbe river, on Sněžka (highest Czech mountain – 1602 m) or the nearest ones, like stone view tower Žalý (1036 m) with the one of the most beautiful view to countryside, or to the ruin of Štěpanice castle from the end of 13-th century, etc.

If you would like to enjoy the company you can visit disco A-Club, Center of Entertainment (bowling, minigolf, billiard) and Café Harlekýn which all are situated in Benecko right opposite the main parking place. Another places for fun you can find in the nearest resorts (Jilemnice and Vrchlabí 8 Kms, Rokytnice n. Jiz. a Špindlerův Mlýn 20 Kms).
