Jilemnice is one of the best-known towns in the Western Giant Mountains, boasting about its cultural and historical traditions that are further advanced by its locals by organizing renowned fairs.

The town is also known for its Local Giant Mountains Museum and town hall.

Every winter, Jilemnice’s square witnesses the building of an ice statue of Krakonoš, the patron of the Giant Mountains.

Jilemnice offers a wide variety of accommodation facilities in boarding houses, hotels, etc. Sport enjoyments are available in a local swimming pool as well.
