Giant Mountains - Svoboda nad Úpou

Svoboda nad Úpou became a starting point to the entire area of the Eastern Giant Mountains – Pec pod Sněžkou, Velká and Malá Úpa, and Janské Lázně.

It is also the only hub ensuring transportation between Vrchlabí and Špindlerův Mlýn. Today, millions of visitors to the Giant Mountains go through this town, which has turned Svoboda nad Úpou into a natural center of business, services and sports.

This community also provides its visitors with properly maintained downhill tracks on the Duncan slope. In summer, the local scenery invites everyone to take a mountain bike ride in the town environs.
